WHAT WE DO

Ouradvertising

Paid advertising works best when every platform has a clear job. We plan and manage campaigns across search and social, connecting targeting, creative, tracking and landing pages so each channel contributes to the wider marketing strategy. Search platforms like Google Ads capture demand that already exists, while social and interruption-based platforms create it — treating all traffic the same is usually where budget gets wasted. The biggest advantage of paid media is speed: unlike SEO, it lets us test offers, messaging and audiences quickly and get real feedback from the market within days or weeks.

Advertising

How we approach
advertising

We don't start with the assumption that your business should be advertising on a particular platform. We look at where the opportunity is, what the existing data tells us and what we can realistically test. From there, we build the right foundations — clear tracking, campaign structures that separate high-intent demand capture from low-intent discovery, and offers strong enough to justify the traffic — then test across channels and put more budget behind what proves it can perform. If something outside the ads themselves is limiting results, whether that's the landing page, the offer or the tracking, that gets fixed too, because ads rarely work in isolation.

Start with the opportunity

We begin with the customer, the offer and where demand exists. The platform comes after that. This prevents budget being pushed into a channel simply because it is familiar or fashionable.

Get the fundamentals right

Tracking, campaign structure, landing pages and clear offers create the foundation. Without them, optimisation becomes guesswork and good creative can still be wasted.

Test across channels

Different platforms play different roles. Search can capture demand while social creates it. We test where there is a sensible reason to do so, then compare the quality of the outcomes rather than judging every channel by the same metric.

Follow the data

Performance decisions come from real search terms, lead quality, conversion behaviour, creative response and commercial outcomes, not surface-level platform scores.

Test, learn and scale

Once we know what is working and why, we build on it. Scaling is treated as a controlled process, with continued testing so growth does not depend on one audience, one ad or one campaign.

Capabilities

Multi-platform advertising

Running ads on a platform because a competitor is there, or because it's fashionable, is how budget gets wasted. We work across Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest and X, but each platform only gets budget once there's a clear reason for it to be there — capturing existing demand, creating new demand, or reaching a specific audience at a specific stage. That means the platform mix looks different for every business, and it can change as the data comes in.

Creative & copy

The same message rarely works the same way twice — what earns attention scrolling through Instagram is different to what converts someone actively searching on Google. We develop ad concepts, copy and creative direction built around the platform, the audience and where they are in the decision, rather than repurposing one asset across every channel. Where it's useful, we produce multiple variations so ideas can actually be tested rather than assumed.

Landing page development

Sending paid traffic to a generic website page is one of the most common ways budget gets wasted. When the existing site isn't the right fit, we build dedicated landing pages matched to the specific offer, audience and intent level behind the ad, so the message the ad made doesn't fall apart the moment someone clicks through. These pages are built to be tested and improved over time, not treated as a one-off asset.

Conversion rate optimisation

Getting the click is only half the job — what happens after someone lands is often where campaigns actually win or lose. We look at messaging, page structure, trust signals and friction points across the pages your ads send traffic to, then make the changes most likely to turn a visit into an enquiry or sale. The aim is to get more value out of the traffic you're already paying for, not just add more of it.

A/B testing

Opinions about what should work are cheap; evidence about what actually works is what moves performance. We run structured tests on messaging, offers, creative and page elements, comparing results properly rather than making a change and assuming it helped. Over time, this builds a clearer picture of what your specific audience responds to, rather than relying on generic best practice.

Campaign scaling

Scaling a campaign isn't just about spending more — pushed carelessly, extra budget usually just inflates cost per lead and drags down quality. When something is proven to work, we grow it in a controlled way: adjusting structure, expanding audiences and increasing budget in steps that let us keep an eye on efficiency and lead quality as we go. The goal is growth that holds up, not a short-term spike followed by a correction.

Advanced tracking & attribution

Most platforms will happily report a conversion that isn't actually a useful lead, and most dashboards won't tell you which channel really deserves the credit for a sale. We set up clearer tracking across forms, phone calls, ecommerce actions and CRM outcomes, so what's being measured actually reflects what matters to the business. That gives us a more honest view of what's working, which is what real budget decisions should be based on.

Detailed reporting & analysis

Reporting should tell us what happened and help us decide what to do next. We bring together the important campaign and conversion data to understand spend, acquisition costs, lead or sales volume, channel performance and how those numbers are changing over time. We then use that information to decide where budgets should move, what needs further testing and where there may be an issue outside the advertising itself.

Next level
performance

Heat mapping

Heat mapping

We use heat mapping and session recordings to see exactly how real visitors move through your most important pages, where they click, how far they scroll, and where attention drops off before they take action. That behavioural evidence replaces guesswork with a clear picture of what's actually happening on the page, not just what the numbers suggest might be happening. It's one of the fastest ways to spot friction on a landing page or website before it shows up as a drop in enquiries.

Creative testing

Creative testing

Ad creative, messaging and offers are tested systematically rather than swapped on instinct, so we can see which combinations of images, headlines and calls to action genuinely move the numbers. Every test runs against a clear hypothesis with enough data behind it to draw a real conclusion, not just a feeling about what 'looks better'. Over time this builds a picture of what actually resonates with your audience, so advertising keeps improving through evidence rather than personal preference.

12-month roadmaps

12-month roadmaps

Every account gets a structured plan covering the next 12 months, so effort stays focused on the highest-impact work instead of whatever feels most urgent that week. That roadmap keeps the bigger picture clear and shows how individual campaigns and channels fit into the wider strategy. It's a living plan rather than a fixed one, though, as priorities shift the moment the data points to a better opportunity.

Reporting & analytics

Reporting & analytics

Reporting is built around the numbers that actually matter to your business, leads, sales, cost per acquisition and revenue, rather than vanity metrics like impressions or clicks that look good but don't pay the bills. Performance across every channel is brought together in one place, so you can see the full picture of what's working and what isn't without having to piece it together yourself. Regular, honest reporting means decisions are always based on what the data is actually showing.

Strategy sessions

Strategy sessions

We regularly step outside the day-to-day execution to properly review performance, challenge our own assumptions and decide what genuinely deserves attention next. These sessions are where the bigger strategic questions get asked, whether a channel is still the right investment, whether the market has shifted, what should be tested next, rather than just fine-tuning what's already running. It keeps the account moving forward with intent instead of drifting on autopilot.

Dedicated account management

Dedicated account management

You work directly with people who know your business and understand the history behind your account and the decisions that led to where things stand today, rather than being passed between different points of contact. That continuity means less time re-explaining context and more time acting on it. Your account manager connects the dots across every channel we run, so strategy stays joined up instead of siloed.

The four pillars of what we do

Digital
marketing strategy

Every channel should have a reason to exist. We build the strategy around your commercial goals first, then decide where SEO, advertising, content, creative and website improvements fit together.

Digital
Advertising

We plan, build and optimise paid campaigns across the platforms that make sense for your business, with the freedom to shift focus as performance and opportunities change.

Search engine
optimisation

SEO is treated as part of the wider marketing system, not a separate monthly checklist. We focus on site structure, search intent, useful content, local visibility and the work most likely to improve rankings and enquiries.

Marketing
audits

Sometimes the fastest way forward is to understand what is already happening. Our audits pull apart your marketing, tracking, website and campaigns so you can see what is working, what is wasting budget and what should happen next.

Frequently asked
questions

Which advertising platform should my business use?

There isn't a standard answer. Google might make sense when people are already searching for what you sell. Meta or TikTok may be better for creating demand or reaching people before they start searching. Often, the right answer only becomes clear once we test and compare the results.

Do you manage advertising across multiple platforms?

Yes. The Digital Marketing Consultants can manage advertising across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, X and other relevant platforms. We don't require every business to advertise everywhere. We use the channels the strategy calls for.

How do you decide where to spend the budget?

We start with the available data and what we know about your customers and market. From there, we test, measure performance and move budget towards the channels, campaigns and ideas producing the strongest results.

Can you track leads and sales beyond the ad platform?

Yes. Depending on your systems, we can implement tracking for enquiries, calls, sales and other meaningful conversion events. Where possible, we want to understand what happens after someone becomes a platform-reported conversion.

Do you do the creative as well as running the ads?

Yes. Creative is part of running effective advertising. We can produce and edit the assets needed for campaigns and create variations so new ideas can be tested without constantly waiting on another supplier.

What if my ads are getting clicks but not converting?

Then we look beyond the ads. The issue could be targeting or traffic quality, but it could also be the landing page, offer, website experience, tracking or conversion process. Being full service means we can investigate the wider journey rather than stopping at the ad account.

How quickly will advertising work?

It depends on the platform, budget, market and existing demand. However, for almost every client they have seen results on Meta Ads within 7 days, whereas Google Ads takes 2-3 weeks to gain traction. Some campaigns can generate useful data quickly, while others need more time and testing. We don't want to call something a winner or loser before there's enough evidence to make that decision.

Do I need a separate agency for landing pages, tracking or creative?

Usually, no. The Digital Marketing Consultants can handle advertising alongside tracking, CRO, landing pages and creative requirements. If something requires specialist development or another capability outside our scope, we'll tell you.
