LOCAL SEO

Local SEOthat helps nearby customers find and choose your business

For many service businesses, local search is one of the highest-intent sources of enquiries available. We improve the signals around your Google Business Profile and website so your business has a stronger chance of appearing when people search for your service in the areas you actually want to reach.

What makes
local SEO work

Local rankings aren't driven by a single factor. Both Google's own guidance and real-world results point to the same three things: how relevant your business is to the search, how close you are to the searcher, and how prominent your business appears overall. You can't control proximity, but relevance and prominence are very much within reach — a Google Business Profile with the right category and complete information, a steady pattern of genuine reviews rather than bursts followed by silence, and business details that stay consistent across the web.

Google Business Profile

The profile needs accurate information, the right categories, strong services, regular activity and a complete representation of the business.

Reviews

Volume, quality and consistency of reviews can materially influence both visibility and whether someone chooses to contact you.

Local website content

Service and location pages should give search engines clear evidence about what you do and where you do it.

Consistent business information

Core details should be accurate across important directories and references.

Real local relevance

Local SEO works best when the content reflects genuine service areas, customer needs and the way people search in those locations.

The four pillars of what we do

Digital
marketing strategy

Every channel should have a reason to exist. We build the strategy around your commercial goals first, then decide where SEO, advertising, content, creative and website improvements fit together.

Digital
Advertising

We plan, build and optimise paid campaigns across the platforms that make sense for your business, with the freedom to shift focus as performance and opportunities change.

Search engine
optimisation

SEO is treated as part of the wider marketing system, not a separate monthly checklist. We focus on site structure, search intent, useful content, local visibility and the work most likely to improve rankings and enquiries.

Marketing
audits

Sometimes the fastest way forward is to understand what is already happening. Our audits pull apart your marketing, tracking, website and campaigns so you can see what is working, what is wasting budget and what should happen next.

Next level
performance

Heat mapping

Heat mapping

We use heat mapping and session recordings to see exactly how real visitors move through your most important pages, where they click, how far they scroll, and where attention drops off before they take action. That behavioural evidence replaces guesswork with a clear picture of what's actually happening on the page, not just what the numbers suggest might be happening. It's one of the fastest ways to spot friction on a landing page or website before it shows up as a drop in enquiries.

Creative testing

Creative testing

Ad creative, messaging and offers are tested systematically rather than swapped on instinct, so we can see which combinations of images, headlines and calls to action genuinely move the numbers. Every test runs against a clear hypothesis with enough data behind it to draw a real conclusion, not just a feeling about what 'looks better'. Over time this builds a picture of what actually resonates with your audience, so advertising keeps improving through evidence rather than personal preference.

12-month roadmaps

12-month roadmaps

Every account gets a structured plan covering the next 12 months, so effort stays focused on the highest-impact work instead of whatever feels most urgent that week. That roadmap keeps the bigger picture clear and shows how individual campaigns and channels fit into the wider strategy. It's a living plan rather than a fixed one, though, as priorities shift the moment the data points to a better opportunity.

Reporting & analytics

Reporting & analytics

Reporting is built around the numbers that actually matter to your business, leads, sales, cost per acquisition and revenue, rather than vanity metrics like impressions or clicks that look good but don't pay the bills. Performance across every channel is brought together in one place, so you can see the full picture of what's working and what isn't without having to piece it together yourself. Regular, honest reporting means decisions are always based on what the data is actually showing.

Strategy sessions

Strategy sessions

We regularly step outside the day-to-day execution to properly review performance, challenge our own assumptions and decide what genuinely deserves attention next. These sessions are where the bigger strategic questions get asked, whether a channel is still the right investment, whether the market has shifted, what should be tested next, rather than just fine-tuning what's already running. It keeps the account moving forward with intent instead of drifting on autopilot.

Dedicated account management

Dedicated account management

You work directly with people who know your business and understand the history behind your account and the decisions that led to where things stand today, rather than being passed between different points of contact. That continuity means less time re-explaining context and more time acting on it. Your account manager connects the dots across every channel we run, so strategy stays joined up instead of siloed.

Reviews

Real feedback from the businesses we work with, straight from Google.

Where local SEO performance is
won or lost

Local relevance goes beyond adding a suburb name to a page. It means service and location pages that show genuine local presence — real proof of operating in the area, location-specific detail and photos that actually reflect the business — rather than templated pages with the place name swapped out. It also means keeping an eye on the local landscape itself: how competitors are showing up, where listings are being gamed, and where there's a genuine opportunity to be the more credible result.

Proximity and relevance

You cannot control every local ranking factor, but you can make the service and location relevance much clearer.

Review momentum

A strong review profile helps both rankings and conversion once someone finds the business.

Website support

The website should reinforce the services and areas represented in the Business Profile.

Spam and competition

Local results can be affected by aggressive competitors and poor-quality listings, so monitoring the actual search landscape matters.

Frequently asked
questions

What does a retainer include?

One all-inclusive monthly retainer covers strategy and execution across every channel we work in, including SEO, Google Ads, Meta and other paid social, landing pages and CRO. There are no per-channel fees, so budget and effort can move to wherever they will have the biggest impact.

What size businesses do you work with?

Mostly small and medium businesses, from single-location service businesses through to national brands and e-commerce stores. More important than size is having a clear offer and a willingness to invest consistently in growth.

Do you offer one-off projects?

Yes. Alongside retainers we take on one-off work such as marketing audits, strategy sessions, landing page builds and campaign setups. There is no requirement to lock into a retainer to work with us.

How quickly can we get started?

Usually within a week or two. Once the scope is agreed we set up access, review your accounts and tracking, and start on the highest-impact work first rather than spreading it out over months.

How is pricing structured?

Pricing is a single monthly fee based on the work needed to reach your goals, not on hours or the number of channels. We recommend a level after an initial strategy call, and ad spend is paid directly to the platforms.

What does onboarding look like?

We start with a discovery call about your business, customers and goals, then audit your website, ad accounts and tracking. From there you get a clear plan of priorities for the first 90 days, and work starts straight away.

Are there long-term contracts?

No. Retainers run month to month. We would rather keep clients because the results are worth it than because a contract says they have to stay.

Will I have a dedicated contact?

Yes. You work directly with our Director, who oversees strategy across every channel, so you are never passed between account managers or left re-explaining your business.
